I'm not blocking you because of your opinion... I'm blocking you because you were an asshole. Plain and simple. Plenty of you have given your opinion without being a dick and I haven't blocked you. If I block you, it's for a reason. You attack or you decide my post is the perfect place to spew your "facts".

I'm done saying it.

Hasn't happened to me yet and sure hope it doesn't.  Sorry for your troubles though.

man, reading all those "discussions" some of these people are able to hold, I'm pretty glad I don't live in the states. The willingness of some people to support clueless emotional decision-making... it's logical that it happens, because most people really are clueless and emotional, but it's scary as hell. It happens all over Europe too, but America trumped us all in the scale of it.

Would seem that this concept is difficult for some to understand.

Man... I'm sorry that had to happen.  I feel like people within my time have slowly become more disrespectful and hostile to opinions different from theirs.  Its why I try my best to avoid politics in general. (One of the main reasons I left Facebook...)

My Aunt is still on Facebook and she feels its her right to post her opinions and remove hateful and provoking comments.  Its HER page, not a soapbox for other people to conflict and argue with her.

I feel you man, I had to remove a friend from my Facebook.
We are on different ends of the political spectrum, I never comment on his stuff, yet almost everything that I share he has to put in his two cents worth.
Finally just got sick of it and removed him.

I had to remove a friend once because he kept posting extremely gory images of people who had been in gruesome accidents and attacks in the mid-east.

I told him to stop (it was making me ill) and he told me that everyone needed to know the TRUTH and not ignore the things that were happening.

Horrible things happen to people every day... but if it were me, I wouldn't want my dismembered body posted all over the internet.  It was just too disturbing.  I feel sorry for it, but I really don't need those images in my head.  I had to block him.

Damn, that is going extreme.
Surprised that he didn't get banned with posting content like that.

Don't blame you at all for blocking him.

It was horrifyingly grotesque.  I honestly didn't think about reporting him...  I probably should have.  Kinda water under the bridge at this point since I haven't touched Facebook in months.

Amen. Wheaton's Law is such a simple thing. Why do so many people have difficulty following it?
